In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN) basketball squad nipped the host Red Wing Wingers (Red Wing, MN), by a margin of 62-58.
The Spartans (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies go into the AAAA Section 1 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Owatonna was tipped by Winona (Winona, MN), 66-58, in a league outing.
