The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Zuni lost 60-40 in their recent league challenge against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM)

Next up, the Bears confront the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Wingate will attempt to improve on its 5-18 season record.
