Next, the Cardinals confront the Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge, on Monday, February 13. Columbus will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Bay City (Bay City, TX).

The Sandcrabs now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hallettsville for a 4A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. Calhoun will confront a Brahmas team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 0-9.
