Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) fans left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Canterbury School Saints (New Milford, CT), 5-3 in a league match.

The Penguins (19-1) will now prepare for their match against Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). The Big Blue enter the match with a 8-12 record. In their last match, Phillips Academy Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA), 5-5, in a league match.

Next up, the Saints encounter the Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) in a match, on Monday, February 13. Canterbury School will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 15-8 record after their 5-2 league win over Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ).
