The Stamford/Westhill ice hockey squad scored 7 points and restricted the visiting Wilton Warriors to 0 in the league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Stamford/Westhill improves its record to 14-3 on the season. The travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a FCIAC battle on Wednesday, February 15. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 6-8. Trumbull won 4-3 in their recent league battle against Staples (Westport, CT)
The Warriors (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Norwalk/McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Bears go into the FCIAC bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Norwalk/McMahon was routed by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
