In Tuesday's league test, the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) basketball squad got by the visiting Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA), by a score of 45-41.
Next, the Lions clash with the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 test, on Friday, February 14. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 20-14 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 24-15 record after their 42-36 league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).
The Rams (20-19) will now prepare for their test against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks come into the 5A District 3 test with a 23-15 record. In their last test, Southside was nipped by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 72-47, in a league test.
