With the victory, Alamo Navajo upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Cougars host Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to face the Grizzlies in a A District 3 match on Friday, February 14. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 5-13.

The Eagles now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainair for a A District 3 match on Thursday, February 13. Hondo Valley will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 75-34 league win over Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-6.
