North Carolina High School Basketball - Alexander Central overwhelms Hibriten

The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Hibriten Panthers to 34 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Freedom for a 3A/4A Northwestern game on Friday, February 14. Alexander Central will play a Patriots team coming off a 72-69 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 16-6.
With the loss, Hibriten falls to 3-20 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to play the Spartans in a 3A/4A Northwestern game on Friday, February 14. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 16-6. South Caldwell won 55-36 in their recent league game against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
