The Newton Railroaders basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Arkansas City Bulldogs to 35 in the Railroaders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Railroaders now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Eisenhower for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II game on Friday, February 14. Newton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Arkansas City falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Salina Central (Salina, KS) to confront the Mustangs in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II game on Friday, February 14. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 6-9. Salina Central lost 70-61 in their recent league game against Andover Central (Andover, KS)
