In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Boyd County Lions basketball team scored a big 109-82 win over the Fleming County Panthers.
The Lions (21-8) will now prepare for their contest against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, South Charleston smashed Huntington (Huntington, WV), 61-59, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Fleming County will attempt to better on its 16-10 season record. The Bluejackets come into the contest with a 16-7 record after their 83-71 non-league win over Estill County (Irvine, KY).
