The Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX) basketball edged the visiting Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX), 36-33 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Tomcats now possess a 17-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bland for a 2A Region II District 14 bout on Friday, February 14. Tom Bean will play a Tigers team coming off a 58-51 league loss to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 18-16.
With the loss, Celeste falls to 13-17 on the campaign.
