The Central Panthers (Independence, OR) basketball edged the host Woodburn Bulldogs (Woodburn, OR), 60-54 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dallas for a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Friday, February 14. Central will play a Dragons team coming off a 64-59 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR). The Dragons record now stands at 1-18.
With the loss, Woodburn falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to play the Raiders in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Friday, February 14. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Crescent Valley won 55-40 in their recent league bout against McKay (Salem, OR)
