Illinois High School Basketball - Christ Our Rock Lutheran bests Father McGivney Catholic

The Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions (Centralia, IL) basketball toppled the host Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL), 62-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Silver Stallions now possess a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Farina South Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. Christ Our Rock Lutheran will play a Cougars team coming off a 56-40 league loss to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Father McGivney Catholic falls to 12-15 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL) to play the Lions in a Gateway bout on Friday, February 14. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-18. Maryville Christian lost 37-31 in their recent non-league bout against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL)
