In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting East Grand Rapids Pioneers basketball team scored a good 72-59 triumph over the Christian Eagles.
The Pioneers (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Catholic Central topped Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI), 47-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - White contest, on Friday, February 14. Christian will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 72-56 league loss to Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI).
