With the victory, Jackson County upgrades its record to 21-2 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Watertown (Watertown, TN) to face the Purple Tigers in a 2A District 5 match on Thursday, February 13. The Purple Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-12. Watertown lost 51-32 in their recent league match against Smith County (Carthage, TN)

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jellico for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Clay County will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 60-55 league loss to Sunbright (Sunbright, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-12.
