In Friday's league contest, the host Mansfield Timberview Wolves basketball team scored a big 65-24 win over the Cleburne Yellowjackets.
The Wolves (25-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars come into the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 25-6 record. In their last battle, Mansfield Summit walloped Burleson (Burleson, TX), 73-34, in a league battle.
The Yellowjackets now own a 5-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everman for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Cleburne will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-34 league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-22.
