The Darlington Redbirds basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Southwestern Wildcats to 62 in the Redbirds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redbirds now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Dodgeville for a non-league game on Monday, February 17.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 18-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cuba City (Cuba City, WI) to confront the Cubans in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities game on Friday, February 21. The Cubans go into the game with a record of 17-7. Cuba City won 59-45 in their recent league game against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI)
