The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the host New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM), observed Des Moines's basketball team overcome New Mexico School for the Deaf by a margin of 57-43.

The Demons (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM). The Trojans come into the A District 5 challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Wagon Mound dropped by Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 85-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Roadrunners battle the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) in a A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, February 13. New Mexico School for the Deaf will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 66-47 league win over Springer (Springer, NM).
