Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY), 68-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Maryvale advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Flyers host Depew (Depew, NY) to meet the Wildcats in a Section 6 Erie County III match on Tuesday, February 18. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-4.
The Blue Devils now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKinley for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. East Aurora will meet a Macks squad coming off a 81-46 league win over East (Buffalo, NY). The Macks record now stands at 10-3.
