The East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) basketball edged the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 51-48 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Timberwolves now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Coronado for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. East Mountain will play a Leopards team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The Leopards record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Sandia Prep falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Coyotes in a 3A District 5 bout on Thursday, February 13. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 4-20. Cottonwood Classical Prep lost 66-34 in their recent league bout against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)
