North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle thwarts East Wake Academy

February 11, 2025: Zebulon, NC 27597

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) and the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), observed Research Triangle's basketball team knock off East Wake Academy by a score of 53-45.

The Raptors (6-16) will now prepare for their challenge against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns come into the 1A/2A Super Six challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, NCSSM: Durham prevailed over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 76-40, in a league challenge.
