The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) basketball toppled the host Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE), 64-53 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Mount Michael Benedictine for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. Johnson County Central will play a Knights team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Concordia (Omaha, NE). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Elmwood-Murdock falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Knights host Mead (Mead, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Mead won 79-26 in their recent non-league bout against Sterling (Sterling, NE)
