In Tuesday's league contest, the host Hartford Hurricanes basketball team scored a close 51-44 win over the Fair Haven Slaters.
The Hurricanes (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Terriers come into the Southern Vermont - B contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Bellows Falls edged Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT), 65-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Slaters battle the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a Southern Vermont - B contest, on Friday, February 14. Fair Haven will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 5-13 record after their 59-41 league loss to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT).
