The Sudan Hornets basketball squad (Sudan, TX), was crushed 94-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX)

With the victory, Farwell advances its record to 25-6 on the year. The Steers host Floydada (Floydada, TX) to meet the Whirlwinds in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Whirlwinds enter the battle with a record of 22-10.

The Hornets now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockney for a 2A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, February 14. Sudan will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 85-39 league loss to Olton (Olton, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-19.
