Next, the Tigers clash with the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 18. Goliad will attempt to improve on its 15-14 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 69-53 league win over Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX).

The Mustangs (9-17) will now prepare for their test against Stockdale (Stockdale, TX). The Brahmas come into the 3A Region IV District 26 test with a 9-19 record. In their last test, Stockdale was nipped by Luling (Luling, TX), 40-37, in a league test.
