The Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting New London-Spicer Wildcats to 61 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lakers now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lester Prairie for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 84-69 non-league win over Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, New London-Spicer falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a AA Section 3 game on Thursday, February 13. The Thunderhawks go into the game with a record of 18-2. Montevideo won 82-62 in their recent league game against Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN)
