Virginia High School Basketball - Oscar Smith fells Indian River

February 11, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23325

The Oscar Smith Tigers basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Indian River Braves to 58 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern game on Thursday, February 13. Oscar Smith will confront a Hornets team coming off a 77-59 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-17.

With the loss, Indian River falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Braves host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Southeastern game on Friday, February 14. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 7-13. Lakeland lost 81-65 in their recent league game against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
