The Thunderbirds now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Rhinelander for a Great Northern game on Friday, February 14. Lakeland will confront a Hodags team coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Shawano Community (Shawano, WI). The Hodags record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Tomahawk falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Hatchets host Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to confront the Indians in a Great Northern game on Friday, February 14. The Indians go into the game with a record of 14-6. Mosinee won 69-37 in their recent league game against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
