The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lakeview Gators (Campti, LA) and the host Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA), observed Lakeview's basketball team knock off Montgomery by a score of 62-54.

The Gators (31-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-20 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary was knocked off by Northwood (Lena, LA), 54-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record.
