In Tuesday's league contest, the host Northeast Bearcats basketball team scored a big 74-7 win over the Madison Panthers.
The Bearcats (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Slater (Slater, MO). The Wildcats come into the Central challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Slater trounced New Franklin (New Franklin, MO), 62-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Pilot Grove Tigers (Pilot Grove, MO) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Madison will attempt to improve on its 4-19 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 67-59 league loss to Glasgow (Glasgow, MO).
