The McMinn Central Chargers basketball squad (Englewood, TN), was crushed 90-61 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN)
With the victory, Walker Valley advances its record to 23-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to McMinn County (Athens, TN) to meet the Cherokees in a 4A District 5 battle on Friday, February 14. The Cherokees enter the battle with a record of 15-10.
The Chargers now own a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lenoir City for a non-league battle on Monday, February 17.
