North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Forest toppled by Millbrook

February 11, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27615

Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC), 90-80 in a league match.

With the victory, Millbrook upgrades its record to 12-11 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to face the Knights in a 4A Northern match on Friday, February 14. The Knights enter the match with a record of 16-6. Knightdale won 76-66 in their recent league match against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)

The Cougars now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rolesville for a 4A Northern match on Friday, February 14. Wake Forest will face a Rams squad coming off a 60-51 league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Rams record now stands at 10-13.
