The St. Croix Prep Lions basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host New Life Academy Eagles to 53 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Croix Lutheran for a AA Section 4 game on Monday, February 17. St. Croix Prep will play a Crusaders team coming off a 85-32 non-league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, New Life Academy falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN) to play the Aggies in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Aggies go into the game with a record of 7-12. St. Agnes lost 54-39 in their recent non-league game against Blake (Minneapolis, MN)
