Ohio High School Basketball - South sneaks past North

February 11, 2025: Willoughby, OH 44094

The South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) basketball edged the visiting North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), 47-41 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. South will play a Pirates team coming off a 77-70 league loss to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, North falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Western Reserve bout on Friday, February 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Mayfield lost 58-56 in their recent league bout against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)
