The Northwest Mustangs basketball squad (Hughesville, MO), was nudged 45-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Sacred Heart Gremlins (Sedalia, MO)

With the victory, Sacred Heart advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Gremlins travel to Smithton (Smithton, MO) to meet the Tigers in a Kaysinger battle on Friday, February 14. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 9-12.

The Mustangs now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest Ridge for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 13. Northwest will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 69-29 league win over Santa Fe (Alma, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 17-6.
