Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI), 41-29 in a league match.
With the victory, Onekama upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Portagers host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to face the Huskies in a Northwest match on Thursday, February 13. The Norsemen now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckley for a Northwest match on Friday, February 14. Suttons Bay will face a Bears squad coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Brethren (Brethren, MI). The Bears record now stands at 8-11.
