With the victory, St. John the Baptist advances its record to 3-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Chaminade (Mineola, NY) to face the Flyers in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk match on Tuesday, February 18. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 11-7. Chaminade lost 71-63 in their recent league match against Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY)

The Gaels now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. St. Mary's will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 61-55 league loss to Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-7.
