The Waconia Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting St. Louis Park Orioles to 71 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Benilde-St. Margaret's for a AAA Section 6 game on Thursday, February 13. Waconia will play a Red Knights team coming off a 76-63 non-league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, St. Louis Park falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to New Prague (New Prague, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-18. New Prague lost 93-64 in their recent non-league game against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
