The West Florence Knights basketball squad (Florence, SC), was crushed 69-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC)
With the victory, Westwood advances its record to 16-7 on the year. The Redhawks host Sumter (Sumter, SC) to meet the Gamecocks in a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Thursday, February 13. The Gamecocks enter the battle with a record of 12-12. Sumter lost 82-46 in their recent league battle against Ridge View (Columbia, SC)
The Knights now own a 1-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 14. West Florence will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 62-58 league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-13.
