New Mexico High School Basketball - Deming holds off Santa Teresa

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Deming Wildcats basketball team scored a close 57-54 triumph over the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Chaparral was tipped by Silver (Silver City, NM), 55-33, in a non-league battle.
The Desert Warriors now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver for a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. Santa Teresa will meet a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 55-33 non-league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 7-2.
