California High School Basketball - Mesa Verde holds off Sutter

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Mesa Verde Mavericks basketball team scored a close 66-61 triumph over the Sutter Huskies.
The Mavericks (8-19) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights go into the contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Rio Linda was tipped by Woodland (Woodland, CA), 70-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) in a contest, on Thursday, February 13. Sutter will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 50-44 league loss to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA).
