New York High School Basketball - Catholic Central nipped by Albany Academy for Girls

The Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) basketball edged the visiting Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY), 59-54 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Institute for a Section 2 Colonial bout on Friday, February 14. Albany Academy for Girls will play a Cadets team coming off a 61-54 league win over Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 15-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) to play the in a Section 2 Colonial bout on Friday, February 14. The go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Academy of the Holy Names lost 61-54 in their recent league bout against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY)
