New Standard Academy Spartans (Flint, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bentley Bulldogs (Burton, MI), 69-30 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Erie-Mason (Erie, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Erie-Mason trounced Dundee (Dundee, MI), 39-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Bentley will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record.
