North Carolina High School Basketball - Burns crushes East Gaston

The Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) basketball crushed the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 60-19 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Cherryville for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Wednesday, February 12. Burns will play a Ironmen team coming off a 42-24 league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, East Gaston falls to 2-21 on the campaign. The Warriors host Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Friday, February 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-14. Highland Tech lost 57-17 in their recent league bout against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
