The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Shores Wildcats (Salton City, CA) and the visiting Calexico Mission RoadRunners (Calexico, CA), observed West Shores's basketball team knock off Calexico Mission by a score of 27-18.

The Wildcats (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Warner (Warner Springs, CA). The Wildcats come into the Southern challenge with a 18-2 record. In their last challenge, Warner prevailed over Holtville (Holtville, CA), 49-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the RoadRunners encounter the San Pasqual Academy Dragons (Escondido, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Calexico Mission will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 1-1 league Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA).
