New Mexico High School Basketball - Silver victorious over Chaparral

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Silver Fighting Colts basketball team scored a good 52-33 triumph over the Chaparral Lobos.

The Fighting Colts (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors go into the 4A District 3 contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Santa Teresa was topped by Deming (Deming, NM), 75-16, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lobos battle the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a 4A District 3 contest, on Friday, February 14. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 16-6 record after their 75-16 league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM).
