In Tuesday's league contest, the host Noble Bears basketball team scored a good 60-45 triumph over the Elgin Owls.
The Bears (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK). The Spartans go into the 5A District 1 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Southeast was toppled by MacArthur (Lawton, OK), 78-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Owls confront the Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK) in a 5A District 1 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Elgin will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 61-38 league loss to Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK).
