New Mexico High School Basketball - Texico bests Eunice

The Texico Wolverines basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Eunice Cardinals to 42 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Texico will play a Longhorns team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, Eunice falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Jal (Jal, NM) to play the Panthers in a 2A District 4 game on Friday, February 14. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 10-13. Jal won 62-25 in their recent league game against Loving (Loving, NM)
