North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklinton overwhelmed by Rocky Mount

In Tuesday's league test, the Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Franklinton Red Rams (Franklinton, NC), by a final score of 73-25.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) in a 2A/3A Big East test, on Friday, February 14. Rocky Mount will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 6-11 record after their 50-39 league win over Southern Nash (Bailey, NC).

The Red Rams (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds come into the 2A/3A Big East test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Southern Nash was overwhelmed by Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC), 50-39, in a league test.
