North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobgood Charter nips Ocracoke

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Hobgood Charter Raiders basketball team scored a close 47-44 triumph over the Ocracoke Dolphins.

The Raiders (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC). The Lakers go into the 1A Atlantic contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Mattamuskeet was tipped by Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 61-9, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dolphins battle the Mattamuskeet Lakers (Swan Quarter, NC) in a 1A Atlantic contest, on Friday, February 14. Ocracoke will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Lakers go into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 36-19 league loss to Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC).
